RUSIQ will offer a Half-Day Seminar on Friday, 1 September 2017, in the RUSI Hall on the topic of:

"The Sovereignty Dispute over the South China Sea"

The program will commence at 11:30 am and conclude at 4:00pm. Topics which may be included are:

  • The economic and military issues arising from China's development of military facilities and civilian settlements on small islands in the South China Sea;
  • The application of the Law of the Sea;
  • The potential military consequesnces of any restrictions on aircraft or shipping movements over or through the South China Sea; and
  • A diplomatic approach to solving the dispute over the South China Sea.
Registration Fees will be $35.00 for RUSIQ members and $95.00 for non-members and guests.

A sandwich lunch and afternoon tea will be included.
Parking will be available.
