The Chief of Army, Lieutenant General Angus Campbell DSC, AM, will speak at the Australian Defence College, Weston Creek, on Thursday, 4 August 2016, on:
The Ryan Review : enhancing professional mastery in the Australian Army through renewal of training, doctrine and education
In 2014, the Australian Army began a review process designed to ensure Australian soldiers prevail in ‘the first fight of the next war’. As part of this process, Brigadier Mick Ryan was commissioned to examine training, doctrine and education, and his report has far reaching consequences for the way that Army will prepare its people. General Campbell will explain Army's concerns and how its response will build professional mastery in future soldiers and officers.
