Air Vice Marshal Brent Espeland AM
It is with great regret that the Directors and Members of the Royal United Services Institute for Defence and Security Studies – Australia advise their membership of the death of Air Vice Marshal Brent Espeland AM.
Brent had served as the National President of the Royal United Services Institute of Australia from 2013 to 2016 and was a driving force behind much of the reform that had occurred recently at the national level. At the time of his death, he was still serving as President of Royal United Services for Defence and Security Studies of South Australia.
Our members extend their sincere and heartfelt condolences to his wife Judy, children and grandchildren.
His funeral service was held on Tuesday 10 October 2017 in Adelaide.
